Clarence is a Bahamas born poet and writer who believes in the transformative power of words. His work explores childhood abuse and trauma, identity, sexuality and enlightenment.

In 2020, Clarence self-published his first chapbook collection, titled, “random thoughts in a stream”, available now on Amazon.

He is currently pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing at Wichita State University, where he serves as poetry editor for Mikrokosmos, the university’s student-run MFA program literary journal.

He is a 2021 Lyford Cay Foundation Scholar, receiving The Harry C. Moore Scholarship for the Arts. Clarence currently resides in Wichita, Kansas.
